Jim McGreevy joined the American Beverage Association (ABA) in November, 2005 as its vice president for state and local affairs. As senior vice president of government affairs for ABA, Mr. McGreevy is responsible for representing the interests of ABA members before federal, state, and local governmental bodies. The non-alcoholic beverage industry employs more than 211,000 people across the United States.

Before joining the ABA, Mr. McGreevy was a senior associate at the Larkin Hoffman Law Firm in Bloomington, Minnesota. In that position, he represented client interests before the Minnesota Legislature and administrative agencies. He was also co-author of Lobbying, PACs and Campaign Finance, a 50-state handbook on campaign finance regulations published by the State Capital Group, an international association of law firms with government relations practices.

Immediately prior to Larkin Hoffman, he served as an aide to then-Senate Majority Leader Roger D. Moe of Minnesota and has extensive experience in politics and government at all elvels.

Mr. McGreevy received a B.A. from Seton Hall University and a J.D. from University of Bridgeport School of Law. He also was a Policy Fellow at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs during the 2003-2004 academic year.
