THE SoFAB ARCHIVE

The SoFAB Archive contains business records, photographs and advertising materials from businesses, including restaurants, in the South.  It also contains recipe advertising booklets and pamphlets from manufacturers, as well as letters, personal recipe card collections and scrapbooks of recipes.  We continue to collect these important documents of eating, cooking and drinking in the South.  Our collection of photographs and other ephemera is growing and will soon be available to scholars and researchers.

If you send us these wonderful things, please also send us a short history of the company or the people.  This is especially important if the company is not longer in business or the person has died.  A picture of the person would also be appreciated.
