This Sunday: Drink Well Do Good Launch Party

We at SoFAB are lucky to be hosting the Drink Well Do Good launch party on Sunday, from 4 - 7. The event is a fundraiser for the ISAW, which seeks to promote equality and education in the South African wine industry.

 SoFAB Kids Activities

The next Kid's Culinary Camp will be held Saturday, April 24, from ten to noon. Don't forget, you can always arrange to have birthday celebrations and parties at SoFAB. We always have a lot of fun, and the kids learn a little about cooking! Go here for more information.

We've got a new exhibit online detailing the culinary history of the neighborhood of Tremé. We've got recipes, nutritional information, and interviews from Tremé residents. Enjoy!

Big Read NOLA 2009!

This year all of New Orleans will be reading Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God. There will be no more book discussions this year, but lesson plans for the book will soon be up on the website.
